FreeBoardGames.com - "Print and Play" Games Bluff 'n Stuff Number of Players: 4 + Suits ages: 14 to adult Type of game: Definitions and phony definitions - you sort them out Also known as The Dictionary Game, this is a classic parlour game that has formed the basis of various TV shows and several commercially available boxed games.
Here we just offer you the rules and let you make up your own definitions - if you want a variation that comes complete with all the material you need, try Porky Pies (it's free!).
How it works: One player looks through a dictionary, finds an obscure word and reads it out. All the other players write down a definition and you have to pick the correct answer from the definitions given. Full details are provided in the file - it's a tiny file so it won't take you a moment to download it.
The game works best with players of a broadly similar ability playing against each other as it tends to fit around that level. It is not a good game for young children to play with adults)
