Boxes is suitable for 2 players, age 7+

How to play:

Give each player a pen.

Players take turns to draw a single vertical or horizontal line that joins any two adjacent dots.

The player who draws the fourth and final line that turns any group of four dots into a box puts his/her initial in the box and draws another line. You always draw another line after you complete a box so it’s possible to draw several lines during one turn.

You must put your initial in every box that you complete.

The game continues until every possible box has been made and there are no more dots to be joined.

Each player counts up the number of boxes that they have initialled and the person who has initialled the most is the winner.
