"A Gardener's Delight"

From Lyme Regis, go west along the A3052 until you reach Newton Poppleford. On the far side of Newton Poppleford turn left onto the B3178 towards Budleigh Salterton and then keep an eye out for the brown signs which will direct you to Bicton Park Gardens.

Once there you can enjoy over 60 acres of historic gardens and buildings. Beautiful fountains, water features, sweeping lawns, formal gardens and romantic English borders. Visit the Palm House, one of England's finest 19th century glass buildings. Explore the wonderful indoor specimen plant collections gathered from around the world over the last 250 years. Discover the house of shells and take a ride on the pretty woodland railway. There's plenty to keep you busy for a day out from Lyme Regis!

For families and children Bicton Park Gardens has plenty of natural areas for children to safely explore and play in. There is also a children's play area and a tot-sized village complete with thatched cottages and maze.
