Higher Pound Riding Centre

A short drive from Amherst Lodge and Lyme Regis lies Higher Pound Riding Centre. Here you will find a range of horses from Shetlands to Shires, to cater for all ages and abilities.

Tuition is available in the indoor arena and instruction in jumping (even show jumping) can be provided for the more ambitious.

Holidaymakers wishing to explore the area on horseback can arrange hacks ranging from half an hour to half a day, providing the chance to see the beauty of the forest and its many birds and animals.
