It's not too far to drive from Lyme Regis to this secret valley garden beside one of Dorset's finest manor houses. There's an italianate walled garden and fountain court, topiary, grottoes, fishponds, statuary, orangery, dovecote and more. Trinity Hill Nature Reserve

A nature reserve on the border of the parishes of Uplyme and Axminster, (close to Lyme Regis). See their web site for full details.

The Donkey Sanctuary (near Sidmouth). (Registered Charity Number 264818)

Not far from Lyme Regis is the Donkey Sanctuary.
