Now here's a big fish but the story behind the catch is altogether more extraordinary. Mark saw the fish early in the day and tempted a take from it with a goldhead damsel. Unfortunately his braided loop wasn't attached to his fly line properly and the fish swam off with his fly, leader and braided loop. Not much good for Mark, nor for the fish. Much disappointed, Mark sought some tackling-up advice from the fishery manager and went back in pursuit of the fish. Against the odds he found it on the end of his line again and this time he successfully brought it into the bank ~ only to discover that he hadn't hooked the fish the second time, he had hooked his braided loop! The moral of the story is that unless you happen to be as fortunate as Mark (and let's face it, this feat isn't going to be repeated too often!), then check your tackle thoroughly before going to the water!
