Terms and Conditions of Booking
General:
The information shown on this web site is believed to be correct at the time of publishing but we do not guarantee the accuracy of any information on this web site. If you are interested in booking, please make contact by telephone and check the current prices and current arrangements at that time.
We require full payment of the cost of your stay at the time of booking.
Any damages or breakages will be charged at prevailing local rates which might be higher or lower than you would expect to pay elsewhere.
Guests staying in Fisherman's Cottage should note that electricity and logs are charged in addition to the quoted rental price.
When you leave here at the end of your holiday, you should leave the property as clean and tidy as you found it. If the property is not clean on your departure then we will call in outside cleaners. This can be expensive and you will be charged for it.
Pets are not allowed except by prior arrangement.
The specifics:
All prices shown may be subject to change and you should please check the price at the time of booking. All bookings will be accepted under and governed by English law. Once you have booked with us you have entered into a contract and you are legally bound to pay us the full amount. If you are concerned that you might cancel your booking and lose the amount of money that you have paid or agreed to pay then you should consider taking out cancellation insurance from a reputable supplier.
In case you have not already seen this warning elsewhere: We have recently had a guest who read all about the accommodation that we offer in the lodge and promptly booked a self-catering rental thinking it was all the same and that he had found himself a bargain. Our self-catering accommodation is very popular but it is not as smart as the accommodation that we offer in the lodge and this is reflected in the prices. Similarly, if you book on a self-catering basis, we do not cook your meals or do your cleaning - sorry!
If you cause damage or breakages anywhere during your stay then you will be charged for replacements and repairs, usually at the prevailing local rate. Given that we may have guests arriving very shortly after you depart and that they will expect the property to be in good condition when they arrive, we reserve the right at our sole discretion and at your expense to use such means as may be necessary to make good any damage or breakages in the shortest possible time so that we incoming guests will not be disappointed.
